Privacy notice
These are development-testing terms. The operator’s address and US state, hosting arrangements and public launch details still need confirmation and legal review. These pages do not claim regulatory approval or permission from the original game’s rights holders.
What this notice covers
This notice covers the DevzON website, team applications, playtest requests and data supplied by a connected fan server to its private admin panel. This is an independent fan project, not a Nexon service.
Information we collect
- Team applications: name or alias, email, preferred role, experience, availability, optional portfolio link, submission date, review status, age/content confirmations and notice version.
- Playtest requests: name or alias, email, device model, submission date, review status and the separate age/content/terms/privacy confirmations.
- Admin accounts: email, a one-way password hash, session data and records of administrative actions.
- Connected server administration: server identifier, local account number, character names/classes, levels and gold balances, moderation status and a recent server heartbeat. This is only imported when the server bridge is configured.
- Security: a keyed hash of the submitting IP for short-lived rate limiting. The hosting provider may separately log IP addresses, request URLs, times and errors.
Why we use it
We use submissions to evaluate contributors and organize testing, consent records to document participation choices, server records to administer testing and enforce moderation, and limited security records to prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information, run targeted advertisements, or use analytics on this build. Google/Firebase login is not active on this website; adding it will require an updated notice.
Access and service providers
Authorized DevzON admins can read submissions and moderation records. The selected cPanel hosting provider processes website/database data to operate hosting. A connected game server receives its own moderation decisions and supported settings through the authenticated server bridge. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to address a concrete security incident. Public submissions are not displayed on the site.
Retention
The configured cleanup task removes application and playtest intake records after 180 days, rate-limit and signed-request replay records after 30 days, and admin audit records after one year. Server snapshots are overwritten with current data; moderation records remain while needed to enforce a decision or handle an appeal. Hosting logs and backups have separate retention set by the provider; that schedule must be confirmed before public launch. The cleanup task must be installed as documented.
Your choices and requests
Email devzxon@gmail.com to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of application consent, or to raise a privacy concern. We will verify a request proportionately and respond under the laws that apply to you. Some records may need to be retained for a legal obligation, an unresolved dispute or a necessary security purpose. State-specific privacy rights depend on the law and whether the project falls within its scope. This notice does not waive those rights.
Adults only and international access
Applications and testing are restricted to people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly accept personal information from minors. If a minor’s submission is discovered, contact us so it can be removed. This build is drafted for US-oriented development testing; a US label does not remove obligations in the operator’s actual location or a visitor’s jurisdiction. Hosting location and cross-border processing must be confirmed before public launch.
Security and updates
The site uses HTTPS in production, hashed admin passwords, restricted admin sessions, input validation and request verification. No system can guarantee absolute security. We will update this notice when practices change and request fresh consent where required.
